Product Details

Location: VIR 1210 Euro Rally Rd. Alton, VA 24520

Dates: November 14 – 16, 2025 (2 nights)

Cost: $56.00 per Scout and $28.00 per Registered Adult Leader to cover food, ammunition costs, maintenance and replacement of materials and the rental of porta-potties. The cost of this campout is higher than most. The reason for this is the cost of Ammunition.

Rally Point: Troop-provided transportation will be arranged for this event. Please feed your Scout before departure. Drop-off is Friday the 14th, 5:00 PM at the Hobby Lobby parking lot at Hancock Village shopping center. Pick-up will be at the same location at around 11:30 AM on Sunday the 16th. Please check your email Sunday morning for a more accurate pick-up time.

Activities: Shooting of Archery, Rifle, and Shotgun, throwing Tomahawks and Knives, Go Kart(optional).

Go Karts: In Order to participate in the Go Karts you must be at least 4’10” tall. There is an additional fee of $15 that must be paid at the time of registration. If your scout is not tall enough or is not interested they will be able to watch their peers drive or possibly participate in another activity.

Gear: Scouts should bring their Scout Essentials. Please plan for a 2-night campout. A Campout Packing Checklist is posted on the Troop Website (look midway down on the page for the "Equipment” section).

Food: We will be doing meal planning for this campout. Each patrol will cook for themselves.

Water: Please bring 2 gallons of water and bring two full water bottles to the campout. There is limited water at the campsite.

Medical Forms: Medical forms expire after 12 months. We will be reviewing the participants list to ensure we have an updated medical form for all participants. If you haven't filled out a medical form or need to update your medical form; please turn it in at a Troop Meeting before the campout. Please remember, with the Medical Form, we will need a front and back copy of the issuance card. A copy of the medical forms can be found on the Troop Website under the Medical Forms section.

Travel Waivers: You will receive a Travel Waiver via email after you sign-up for the campout. Please complete them after registering and turn them in at a Troop Meeting before the campout. All forms are due no later than the Wednesday before the event. Without a form, you will not be allowed to attend. Remember, we will need a travel waiver for both Scouts and attending Adults.

Medications: Medications will be turned in to the Medical Officer at drop-off. Medications should have specific instructions on how to administer and dosage. Please remember to take back unused medication at pick-up.
